Common Scarborough projects

Match flooring decisions to traffic, access and room use.

Three common scopes for occupied facilities, residential carpet and busy entrances.

Halls and clinics floored between their own events
Commercial and community spaces

Schedule carpet work around the facility’s operating hours

For clinics, halls and other occupied facilities, confirm operating hours, ventilation requirements, adhesive selection and access before installation is scheduled.

  • Low-VOC adhesive systems

Residential carpet repair

Repair ripples, seams and localized damage where practical

Loose carpet and localized wear should be assessed for re-stretching or repair. Matching material and the surrounding carpet condition affect the result.

  • Closet-offcut patching
  • Same-visit furniture handling
Request a repair assessment
Entrances designed for congregation-scale traffic
Entrance matting

Size entrance coverage for visitor traffic and winter moisture

Large facilities need entrance coverage based on visitor volume, vestibule depth and winter moisture.

03
Before work begins

Two planning checks for busy facilities and lower-level rooms.

Useful when durability or possible moisture exposure will affect the flooring choice.

Quote durability in years, not just dollars.
High-traffic facilities

Review expected traffic before selecting the carpet.

Compare wear classification, construction, maintenance requirements and expected traffic before selecting commercial carpet.

See durability comparisons
Basement carpet needs its own moisture logic.
Basements and lower levels

Check moisture conditions before choosing basement carpet.

Check for moisture and confirm the subfloor before selecting basement carpet and underpad. Product choice depends on the room conditions and intended use.
