Mission & values

A family tradition

Flooring is our trade. Listening comes first.

Flooring has been part of Mark Aydin’s family life for years, with both his father and brother involved in the trade. He established Victorious Carpet & Flooring in May 2001, building on that family background. What keeps the work interesting is that every project brings a different space, a different set of needs and a new conversation.

Vision

Trust worth recommending

We want customers to feel comfortable with their decision to choose Victorious, both when the work is finished and as they use their flooring over time. Our aim is to earn the kind of trust people feel confident sharing with a friend.

Mission

Listen before recommending

We start by listening to how you use the space, what concerns you and what you hope to achieve. That understanding helps us explain suitable choices, alternatives and limitations before you decide.

Values

Information before a sale

Honesty, respect and accountability guide our approach. We believe useful advice should help you make an informed decision, even when that means a smaller project or postponing a purchase.

Values in practice

What this means for your project

Consider the alternatives

A request for new carpet does not always lead to replacement. Where the existing carpet remains suitable, we may recommend a repair or suggest waiting before replacing it. The recommendation should fit the condition of the floor and your priorities.

Be fair about pricing

Mark recalls orders where a supplier promotion became available after a customer had agreed to a purchase, and Victorious passed those savings along. For him, that is a practical example of honesty, including when a customer would not otherwise have known.

Make the details clear

Flooring work involves more than choosing a colour. We use written notes to explain the agreed work, preparation and responsibilities. Reviewing those details together helps both sides understand what is included and what may need further discussion.

Work through concerns

Construction work can uncover conditions that were not visible at the start. When something unexpected comes up, our approach is to discuss it and help identify a practical next step. Questions after installation are reviewed in the context of the work and the applicable written terms.
